Pierce through keloid?

I had my earlobes pierced when I was a kid, but I took out the jewelry and both piercings developed keloids. I was just curious if it's alright to pierce through keloids?

Or; has anybody successfully gotten rid of a keloid without surgery? How?

Pierce through keloid?
its not a good idea to pierce a keloid because it will probably be very painful and it would make the situation worse. shots are a very temporary solution to keloids and the best way to get rid of them is to wait. they naturally soften with time, probably about 2-6 years, depending on how bad it is. even if it does get better, it might be risky to repierce it again.
Reply:It is very very painful piercing through any scarring, a friend of mine who is pierced in all sorts of places I won't mention has said still that the most painful piercing was repiercing his toungue after letting the hole heal, and going back through the scar tissue.
Reply:why would you want to do that...its only going to make it worse.
