Keloid Help.?

I have a keloid on my chest like right where your esaphagose goes bhind your chest boneand I wanna reduce it.

Will putting ice on it reduce its size?

Where can I buy pure vitamin e oil?

I already had surgery on it but like half of it grew back.

What will happen if I scrub it really hard and peel off skin?

(I know it would be painful but would it scab over and reduce a little?)

HELP

Keloid Help.?
I have one too. Dont scrub or pick at it. It will get worse. The best thing I found was cortisone injections at dematologist. They also sell over the counter products specifically for this that may help. Look in the first aid isle. Any further trauma will only make it worse.
Reply:There is a product at the drug store called Mederma. It's expensive and you have to apply it often but it does help. If there is a store-brand right beside it, that works just as well and is a bit cheaper. Both are over-the-counter.

I got it (store brand) for my son and it really helped.
Reply:I'd try using fine sand paper until it stung a little bit then put some neosporin on it then wait for a few days to let it heal and then do it again, and so on.
Reply:i had keloids on both of my ear lobes. i had surgery and thankfully mine has not grown back. sorry to say but keloids are a 50/50 thing. you have a 50% chance that they will or will not grow back and you my friend got the short end of the stick. all those home remedies will not reduce the size i suggest more surgery.
Reply:Well, I just Googled it and from what I saw, I don't think you should "really scrub it hard and peel off the skin". From what I read, it could go into cancer, so you probably need to get your **** back to the Doctor--pronto!
Reply:A keloid is an overgrowth of scar tissue in reaction to skin injury. The more you manipulate it, the more likely it is to react with more keloid formation. You should consult a specialist. If you pick at it, I think you will be unhappy with the results %26amp; you may end up with more than you bargained for, not to mention an infection.
