Is there an effective way to remove keloid scars?

Keloids are scars caused from over-reactive scar tissue. Would laser surgery effectively remove them or make them worse?

Is there an effective way to remove keloid scars?
There is a treatment to reduce the scar tissue. Have you been to your dermatologist. I believe they give you a cortozone injection into the keloid tissue and that will reduce the bump.

If you try to remove it completely (scar tissue and all) there is a chance that it could irritate the area and cause the keloid to come back.

Good Luck
Reply:Depends on where the scar is and how large it is. My daughter had one on her ear after her second piercing (not cartilage). To have it removed; we just made an appt for a regular office visit, doc numbed it up, and gently razored it off. It hardly bled and she said it wasn't sore. I don't know that you would need anything as drastic as laser surgery, but then again, I don't know the size or placement of your scar. Good Luck
Reply:BIOSKINCARE is a biological solution for application on the skin that prevents and removes keloid scars.

It does so by the action of complex cell communicating molecules that recognize disfunctional and damaged cells and act in concert with enzymes that dissolve abnormal tissues and trigger the regeneration of healthy skin structures in an orchestrated or orderly way. It also deeply moisturizes the skin, relieving itching, pain and all discomfort.

BIOSKINCARE is made with a unique skin regenerating substance proven effective for the treatment of all types of scars. It stops itching, softens and helps to remove keloid scars and reduce pitted or ice pick scars. It also prevents scarring and acts as a natural remedy for acne.
