Keloid skin and tattoos?

What will happen if someone with keloid skin gets a tatoo.

Keloid skin and tattoos?
If your artist does what he/she is supposed to do, you won't scar or you will scar very minimally. I keloid very easily, and I have not had any problems (as far as scars/keloids go) with the tattoo. The needle that is used to ink is actually only supposed to go 1/16 of an inch. That isn't very far at all, and the chances of you scarring from something that goes in that shallowly are slim to none. But I would ask the artist before you get inked. Good luck!
Reply:I'd be really hesitant to get a tattoo if I had a tendency to get keloid scars.
Reply:from the picture ive just seen of keloid skin, i wouldnt, it wouldnt tattoo properly and would just create a mess
Reply:I HAVE 9 TATS AND I HAVE KELOID ISSUES BUT NOTHING HAPPENED IT DEPENDS ON THE ARTISTS TECHNIQUE
Reply:I wouldnt suggest getting a tattoo if you are prone to keloids.
Reply:not to much just a little rough as I'm a Keloid heeler and my tats are fine and have no loss of detail......
Reply:I have a Keliod problem,Advoid getting a tattoo on the chest...Of some odd reason and it is proven that women and are more prone to getting keloids on their chest then anywhere...I have a one inch Keloid on my chest from a surgery and i have a small Keloid on my industrial bar in my ear...but i just got a tattoo 2 months ago on my lower back and no problems!
