After heart surgery, I have Keloid(scar) at sternam area. It getting thicker and itcheir. I would appreciate any help to stop getting worse. Thanks.
Can accupuncture help Keloid?
There is no evidence that Accupuncture can be used to treat Keloid.
Keloid is basically an overproduction of your skin in response to an injury. Adding more injury through Accupuncture probably will not work.
What will work is steroid injection into the Keloid. See your family doctor or a dermatologist for the steroid injection if the Keloid is bad enough.
