Keloid in my eyebrow piercing?

I get one of these things at least once every month. Usually I bust it, it scabs over, gets a bit swollen, and eventually disappears. However, I popped the one I have on my eyebrow piercing now and it won't go away. It scabbed over then the scab peeled off (nothing unusual there) but the keloid doesn't seem to be going away like usual. Are there any safer ways for me to get rid of this thing? It's annoying as hell.

Keloid in my eyebrow piercing?
You likely didnt have a keloid to begin with, just a zit or ingrown hair, keloids don't just go away from some squeezing. Buy some grapefruit seed extract oil from a natural foods store, use 8 oz of warm water and about 7-8 drops of the grapefruit seed extract oil and a q-tip and clean it once daily for 2 weeks, the keloid will slowly disappear. Lavender oil and tea tree oil can work as well.

My other advice would be DO NOT pick at your piercing(s) under any circumstances, that's a very good way to get an infection!!!
Reply:I have a keloid in my nose piercing, %26amp; I've been using some piercing oil that I purchased from the body piercing place (mystical illusion) for about 2 mos. Is there really some oil that can remove my keloid? Have you witnessed it? I mean, will it really work? Report It

Reply:you need to see a doctor like yesterday
Reply:get rid of the piercing
Reply:Its not a Keloid.

This is a keloid.http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/Keloid

It could be irritation, scar tissue, or infection.

You need to see a piercer when it happens, or a doctor.

They will probably tell you to do sea salt soaks. Stop poking it, when you see that bubble, it causes it to spread.

•Sea Salt Soaks are still the way to go!

•How to do a sea salt soak•

1.Wash your hands with an anti-Bacterial or antimicrobial liquid Soap/Wash.

2.Use a disposable cup to mix your sea salt solution. Or clean your cup very well with the anti-bacterial soap.

3.Mix 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt to 8 oz of warm water. (Distilled water if possible)

4.Pour the solution into a small shot glass and tip it over onto your piercing. Fully saturate the piercing. Do this for 10 minutes once a day.

5.Rinse, and pat dry with a disposable paper towel.

•Do not rotate, twist it or turn the piercing.

•Don't take the piercing out! If you do, you will be cutting off the drainage for the infection and the infection can get trapped inside.

In cases of infection its always best to see a doctor.

Do not use alcohol,(unless instructed to by your doctor) as it can be harmful to the scar tissue. Alcohol is not intended for puncture wounds, do not use it unless a doctor says its safe for you as it can be harmful if it gets in your bloodstream.

Good luck.
Reply:There is no home remedy for keloids please.
