Can i mistake something on my belly button piercing as a keloid?

i haven't been able to find many pictures of belly button piercing keloids, or a way to identify it. can i develop one while my piercing is still healing or does it happen after it has healed?

what does it look like, like a red bump with a liquid in it...if so thats probably what it is, i had one on my tragus, use antibacterial soap and it should go away that what i used
Reply:Keloids are rare - odds are it's hypertrophic scarring, which will go down with regular cleaning.
