Possible keloid on ear?

i no i hav keloid skin cuz i hav a scar on my arm from when i was little. Now, i recently, last tuesday wore magnetic earrings to make it look like i had a second hole (since i no i cant get 1). And now, on my left ear, there is this little brown spot that is a little prodtruded from my ear, it actually looks like a little pimple or mole, but with my luck, it may b a possible keloid. Should I get a cortisone shot in case? or is it too early? i dont want it too grow, but i dont wanna wait till its too late and it gets big, cuz it looks really small, u cant even c it until i turn my ear over and point it out. And how do i kno whther or not i'm allergic to cortisone (the shot that would possibly limit the grow of the keloid), and how long does it take for a keloid to grow big?

Keloids are scarring, and I doubt magnetic earrings would produce it. Depending on how long you wok the earrings though, you could have a nickel allergy that would promote a bubble or itchiness where the earring was. Try some topical hydro-cortisone and see if that clears it up. If not have a doctor check it out. Good luck!
Reply:A keloid is produced from some type of scarring. If there was no injury to produce a scar, it is not a keloid. You should probably get it checked out.

How do you know if you are allergic to cortisone? It's probably unlikely, but stop putting the cart before the horse. Just relax, make an appointment and don't freak out.
