I would talk with your doctor. I actually developed a keloid scar near my episiotomy (great, huh?). It was really painful. He prescribed Premarin cream, which is an estrogen topical cream and it improved very quickly. If you are breastfeeding, you need to use it sparingly. Not sure if it would work on other parts of the body, but it may be worth the call.
