Are there any piercers out there who hav pierced on someone who has a keloid, and that person's piercing 'survived' without much complications? is it possible to not have a new keloid?

I managed a retail store for years %26amp; we were taught to NEVER pierce thru a keloid. You can pierce around them but be sure you're piercing far enuf away not to, in any way, actually effect the keloid.
Reply:it is not advisable to pierce keloid skin, the skin will not heal smoothly and you may cause HUGE keloids at the piercing site...
