Did I get the right tea tree oil for my keloid?


Well about 9 months ago i got my belly pierced but I made the mistake of listening to my friend and changed my belly ring to a cheaper jewelry. So a huge keloid formed right under the bottom hole next to my belly button. Its a big protruding bump there. SO i decided to go to my piercer and he told me i had a keloid and told me to get "pure" teat tree oil. Well I did get this teat tree oil from walgreens. It says hollywood beauty on it and it says its a fungus fighter. It came in a little bottle. Did i get the right kind or is there a different one i was supposed to get? help!

Here's the deal, it'll go away on it's own with good jewelry and cleaning. The tea tree oil may or may not help.
Reply:oh never heard that. I thought you treated keloids with steroid injections and a doctor cuting them too. I have to ask someone about that tree oil I personally don't think it will work. You should contact me on my yahoo 360 to let me know your results.
Reply:I don't think tea oil will work considering keloids arent exactly like warts or a fungus and are caused by the body creating extra scar tissue and not knowing when to stop multipling caused from the peircing itself.





Best bet would go and see a Doctor and have cut off.
